Certified Judges Committed
American Quarter Horse judges are held to high professional standards through AQHA certification and approval programs.
AQHA recognizes three primary judging categories:
- AQHA All-Around Judges — Approved to judge all AQHA-approved events and classes.
- AQHA Specialized Judges — Approved to judge specific disciplines such as reining, cutting, ranch riding, roping, speed events, halter, working cow horse, dressage, and more.
- AQHA International All-Around Judges — Judges located outside the United States who are approved to judge AQHA classes within their country or region.
